Sunday Snippet : Life According to Lucy

by - 00:00

Today's Sunday Snippet I bring to you Lucy according to Lucy. I look forward every week to sitting down on Saturday and catching up on all of Lucy's posts. Lucy's posts could range from a new hairdo to a massive adventure lol. The pure spontaneity is what brings me back over and over. Below is a small introduction to Lucy following some questions I asked. I hope you all take the time to get to know Lucy and follow her links.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I'm 19, I live in beautiful Sligo, and I have a passion for blogging (well, attempting to), cooking, and long walks on the beach. Ok, that last part was a joke.

2. How did you get into blogging and why?

Oddly enough it was my mum who inspired me. She's been blogging for around 7 years and I thought, 'Hey, I'm good at rambling and sometimes I want to let off some steam so why not start a blog?' And voila, Life According To Lucy was born!

3. What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?

I cook, I work, I go to the gym and I read. And sleep a lot.

4. Are you a full time blogger?

I wish I was, I think blogging would be a great way to earn a living. I'm an office intern by day, blogger by night.

5. How do you keep coming up with content for your blog?

It is quite hard, I find myself with 'blogger's block' quite a lot. Thankfully I know quite a few inspiring people who help me come up with ideas and I'm always out and about doing different things so I blog about anything and everything.

6. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
Zoella, LovelyGirlieBits, CherrySue, Niomi Smart. I admire their writing style, persistence and versatility.

7. Name the top blogs you read?

As above and also: My mum (magnumlady.com), ModaFix (modafix.ie), Zara McDaid, Nicola McLaughlin (thesequincinderella.com), Review A Day (a-review-a-day.blogspot.com/)

8.What makes you read the above blogs?

It's quite a mixed bunch there. My mum for her wit and incredible photography which gives Sligo a massive tourism boost. ModaFix, Zara McDaid and Nicola McLaughlin for their impeccable style, and Review A Day is a good read if you're bored.

9. Tell us something we don't know about you?

I write for an online food website, http://www.biamaith.ie/. Jack of all trades, master of none ;-)
