Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer

by - 11:00

A few weeks ago I brought you the new items which Catrice had added to their stands for Autumn/Winter for complexion and eyes. I was totally excited about the addition of a new liquid concealer. This concealer promised to be high coverage and waterproof. I was eager to put this to the test and set upon finding it on a Catrice stand.

I loved the look of this concealer. It promises to the be high coverage and waterproof exactly what I needed. It is available in 2 shades porcelain and light beige. It's perfect for under eyes and could well be a cheaper alternative to the well known Touche Eclait Concealer. Dark circles, irregularities, and redness are all now a thing of the past. This Liquid Camouflage offers optimal coverage. It is highly pigmented, waterproof and very long lasting. It's super easy to use and comes with a handy stick type applicator.

I choose the shade porcelain as my complexion is very pale and this looked the perfect shade to conceal and highlight under my eyes. I use this everyday to conceal any dark circles or tiredness I wake up with. I 100% recommend this product to you. It gives an amazing look which you will see below when I show you how I apply this concealer. This retails at €3.99 on all Catrice Make Up Stands. Catrice can be found in Primark and many other pharmacies including Sam McCauleys. Locally it is available in Waterford Health Park Pharmacy, Sam McCauley's and Penneys

So how do I use it?

I apply my foundation as normal using my Penneys Double Ended stippling brush, once my foundation has set into the skin, and before I powder I apply my concealer.

I then apply my concealer in a triangle shape, from the inner corner of my eye and out to the outer corner.

Once this is done I then buff the concealer into my skin using the small end of my stippling brush. Alternatively you could use a kabuki style eyeshadow brush or eyeshadow blending brush and just buff/blend the concealer under the eye. Below you can see the concealer blended out and how much it make my eyes stand out and look awake!

I love the effect this has on my skin. It makes me look alive and awake.I set my concealer and foundation using the Essence stay matte powder.

I loved this look! This concealer is excellent and very good value. I love how it conceals and is waterproof. It does exactly what it promises to do. Has anyone bought this already? What did you think?
