iWhite Teeth Whitening Kit

by - 23:43

A few months back the lovely Tomas from Conefreys sent me a fab package of iWhite to try out. I was sent the toothpaste and the teeth whitening kit. I didn't want to just use the kit I wanted to keep it for a special occasion. Last week I was attending a family wedding on my partners side and I wanted to try out the whitening kit. I was super excited as I have seen Grace Mongey, Aj Fitzsimmons and Marissa Carter using these kits and they love them. The iWhite kit contains 10 hygienically packaged tooth trays which are filled with a film crystallised calcium technology active gel. The main point to note here is that there is absolutely no hydrogen peroxide here. The kit is designed to instantly whiten teeth by up to 8 shades and it can be used occasionally or on 5 consecutive days to remove stains and strengthen the upper and lower teeth. I had used one set of trays when I received them and i then used 4 trays on 4 consecutive days. I am super impressed with the results which can be seen below.

The trays are really very simple to use as they are prefilled and individually packed. All you need to do is take one out of the sachet and pop it in for 20 minutes over brushed teeth. The trays are all the one size but they are very comfortable. The rubber is thin and flexible to ensure comfort, and its easy to fit both top and bottom trays in with ease. One precaution mentioned in the instructions is not to bite too hard as the active gel can seep out of the trays, due to this I was very aware of it during my treatment and made sure not to bite hard on them. The gel is a little bit minty but doesn't have a strong taste, the process is acceptable and it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. As with all whitening treatments it is necessary to give it ample time to work on the stains so I left the trays in for the recommended time.

Following removal of the trays after the 20 mins, I gently rinsed my mouth with water and then brushed gently to make sure all the gel was removed. It is clear to see the results are instant and i then repeated this procedure on the next three days. Below are the results following use of the trays for 4 consecutive days. I am very pleased with the results as my teeth were quite stained from coffee. The kit retails for €29.99 and is available from Conefreys Pharmacy. I am now using the iWhite toothpaste which I reviewed here to keep my whiteness topped up. Pop onto their page and enquire about the products and the ranges they stock. I have also been made aware that the kit is available locally in Waterford in Castle Pharmacy.

What do ye think? Has anyone else used the kit before? What did you think? Let me know.
