Revlon Colorburst Balms

Revlon ColorBurst Crayon Lacquer Balms, in ten shades with 'large particle shimmer' to reflect and refract the light, creating a 'crystal shine'. Like all of the Revlon crayon family these have the 'Triple Butter Complex' of mango, shea and coconut butters for balm-like moisture, a mild peppermint fragrance and twist-up packaging.

McCabes Pharmacy have these available in 5 colours at the moment at a massive reduction. They normally retail at €11.25 but are on offer for €5.62 . Great reduction.

Demure is a pretty pale pink that suits an every day look down to the ground. A definite contender for top-spot status for me, and I'm sure for many others as well as it's just so lovely and easy to wear!

Coquette is a medium pink that would suit most skin tones as it's neither too blue or too red. Super pretty worn sheer for daytime or ramped up with a couple more swipes for the evening.

Whimsical is a deep, warm-toned pinky purple shade - way less frightening than the matte Shameless looks!

Vivacious is a poppy pink-toned red. Lovely for summer as it's so bright and juicy!

Provocateur is a super pretty cherry red. Shades like this work well with both a high shine finish and matte I think.

In my opinion the lacquers have more workability to them, and are therefore more versatile, as you can wear them sheer or really build up the colour, Whilst they are said to contain large particles of shimmer, I wouldn't say this was obvious in the slightest, except for Whimsica. I do think these are also the most easy to wear out of the three formulas though - swings and roundabouts! I'd put these up there with the Bourjois Color Boost Crayons in the moisture and shine stakes, only with more shades to choose from!
