A few weeks back I recieved this fabulous little product from Celia in Nia Natural Beauty. I was very pleased to recieve a product to review as I had heard excellent recommendations about the brand. Nia produce a range of natural skincare beauty products in Ireland, which capture the healing powers of nature. It was created by Celia O Grady and her passion for natural healthy products drove her to create her own recipes for a range of facial and body at home spa treatments, which use only the best of natural ingredients. The delicate formulas of all Nia products are carefully researched for their beneficial properties.

So now onto the most important part, what I thought of the Intensive Restorative Cleansing Balm.

This Cleansing Balm is part of the new Intensive Restorative range which Nia have launched. It is a complete skincare to care for and treat dry, sensitive or dehydrated skin types prone to sensitivity redness or irritation. The product is designed to calm, soothe, heal, moisturise and provide soft clear radiant skin.

It is a gentle yet effective 2 step wash off facial cleansing balm suitable for daily cleansing and heavy make-up removal on even sensitive skin. Use daily to leave skin clean, soft and radiant.

So how do you use it :

Apply onto damp skin, including the eye and neck area. Remove with the supplied cleansing cloths for maximum benefit. Supplied with 3 x cleansing cloths and spatula. The soft white cleansing cloths are made from 100% natural wood fibres and cellulose, they are 100% Bio-degradable and 100% Recyclable.

I have to say I am super impressed with this product. From the moment I unwrapped it from the gorgeous hot pink wrapper I knew it was going to be good. It smells divine, the mixture of calendula and orange is fabulous. It has a lovely fresh clean smell. I used it immediately when I received it. I had a full face of make up on, so as per the instructions, I removed a small amount using the little spatula provided and rubbed into damp skin. I rubbed it around in small circular motions from my forehead to my neck. I then cleansed using a damp cleansing cloth. It had fully removed my make up, and i even double cleansed to make sure there was none left, and to my amazement not a trace of make up was on the cleansing cloth after the second cleanse. This really does do what it says on the tin. My skin felt very soft and supple after using the balm for the first time.

I was super impressed with it and could not wait to get up the next morning and cleanse with it again. I have now been using it with a few weeks and i have only barely dented the balm. It is 20 euro for a tin of it , but it will last you for a good amount of time. It is definitely worth investing in. My skin has never been as soft and it has cleared up so much. I love getting up in the morning knowing I have this amazzzzzing cleanser to use and coming home at night to take my face off is just as good as I know my skin is benefiting to the max from this product.
