For the fifth installation in Sunday Snippet, I bring you Rachel from Lassarina. I came across Rachel's blog one quiet sunday afternoon while browsing on bloglovin. I love bloglovin. Rachel's blog is all about lifestyle and beauty. I mean it can range from the beautiful Clonmacnoise to a post on Mermaid Nails, or the Real Techniques Core Collection, now that's just naming a few. I love sitting down in a quiet spot and reading Rachel's post. Check it out ladies. Rachel has kindly answered some quick questions below for us to get to know her a little better.
1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I'm always terrible for describing myself, but here is a little bit about me. I'm originally from Cork. I decided to spend the previous few years travelling. I spent alot of my time in London, where I lived and worked in Trafalgar square, but I also spent time in Paris, Amsterdam, Germany and many more. It had a great time and I learned so much about myself. It gave me some amazing experiences that I'll never be able to forget. I have spent many years in education I just haven't found something that I want to do for the rest of my life, I think i'll be an eternal student! By far the thing I am most proud of though is Graduating from my Japanese course in UCC.
2. How did you get into blogging and why?
I started blogging last year. I had just moved from Waterford to Galway where I dropped out of the first year arts course I was doing. I didn't know anyone here and I was feeling a bit lonely and unsure about the direction I was going in. I loved everything about Galway though so I decided to start up a blog just to share my exploration of Galway. I didn't realize there was such a big community within the blogging sphere, but starting that blog was the best thing I could have done. I've met so many amazing people since. I learned alot from my first blog, but eventually I realized I wasn't as happy with it as I could be, so I decided to start over and make something that I would be truly happy and proud of and that is what Lassarina is for me.
3. What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
I was working in retail until last month but unfortunately im now unemployed! if you see someone hiring in Galway make sure to give me a shout ha ha. I've been spending my free time doing new things and exploring different hobbies also meeting up with my friends I haven't seen in awhile. I saw my best friend for the first time in two years just last week, we could never manage to meet up due to clashing schedules!
I wouldn't consider myself a full time blogger but I do spent alot of time thinking about my blog and how I can make it better. I love my blog and I would love to see it grow and have people get the same enjoyment from it that I do. Maybe one day I will be able to become a full time blogger but for now im very happy with where my blog is. The way it has grown is amazing and i'm so proud of it!
5. How do you keep coming up with content for your blog?
My blog is mainly a beauty and lifestyle one. With beauty I share things that I love and that work for me. Everyone is different so I think its great to share opinions about how something worked for you. I'm actually quiet cautious with my beauty purchases so I always read blogs before I splurge so that's why I love to share my thoughts, maybe they will help someone else!
The second part of my blog and I suppose the bit that I am most proud of is the lifestyle part. I love sharing places that I go to and the more exciting things that I do. I suppose lifestyle has a special place in my heart because its the main reason I chose to start blogging and it was definitely one of my more better decisions.
6. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
I think I look up to all the bloggers in the ITWBN and IRISHBLBINSPIRE groups! Everyone is always so encouraging and helpful. There is a great atmosphere around blogging at the moment and I love it! It makes blogging a very fun and exciting thing to be part of :)

http://www.reflectionofsanity.com/ who lives in Canada. She was one of my first followers and the first person to comment on my blog and she was just so encouraging. I always love reading her blog, its so fun and she has a great sense of humor :)
I also love http://www.dollydowsie.com/ Fiona is just so honest and its very refreshing. I love how she constantly updates and I never get bored of her blog. I always find her inspiring, also her son Tyler Lee is just the most adorable child! :)

9. Tell us something we don't know about you?
Something I haven't shared on Lassarina yet is my love for books! I am a total book fiend! I have three bookcases throughout my house and they barely contain my books, buying another bookcase more would only encourage me though! I just recently signed up for a book swap and I cant wait. Not only is it a great chance to meet new people but the thought of being introduced to new books and authors delights me :)
