Most bloggers, at some point, have heard of or received the Liebster award, unless you are a newbie! This award exists only on the internet, and is given to bloggers by other bloggers.It has German origins. It is said that the Liebster award was created to recognize and/or discover new bloggers and welcome them to the blogosphere. In the digital world of the internet, this seems like a nice gesture, in my opinion!

1. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging back in January I really started the blog as a way to share my journey into the beauty world. I had just completed an Itec Make Up Course and wanted to venture more into the world of beauty and I thought what better way than to start a blog. I always had a love of beauty and make up and when I got seriously ill back in June 2012 i lost my hair and i suppose make up was the only way I could make myself look normal and healthy. From there I really wanted to know more about make up and make up products. I enrolled in the Itec course in September 2013 and from there i found a passion for make up and beauty.
2. What song stops you in your tracks and why?
The Old Man by The Fureys. I lost my Dad 5 years ago and that song reminds me of him everytime i hear it, it stops me in my tracks and i cry.
3. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live and why?
It has to be Phuket in Thailand. I went there in 2011 with my friend now my other half and I absolutely loved it out there. The place is amazing, the people are so nice and friendly. I cried in the airport because I had to come home lol. That has never happened to me before and I have been to a few lovely places around the world. From the moment I landed back in Dublin I said I would love to move to Thailand.
4. Dog or cat?
Definitely dog. Myself and my partner have a boxer called Jake. I also have a Jack Russell called Max and my family dog is a mental black labrador called Lola.
5. You’re hosting a dinner party and you’re only allowed to invite three people (dead or alive), who would they be and why?
My Dad - love to have 1 more dinner with him
Secondly it would be Colin McRae, I have a keen interest in rallying and cars. I love my cars. I would love to talk to Colin about all his rally experiences and see if he would let me be his navy for a day lol
And third i would invite Mother Theresa of KolKata, I always looked up to her and would love to speak with her.
6. What would be your all time favourite book?
My sister's keeper. It is so honest and true and really opens up your eyes as to what some families can go through.
7. Who was your first crush?
Oh lord, haha, i guess my first proper crush was on a lad in our secondary school, he had absolutely no interest in me and i was infatuated lol.
8. Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Crisps and Chocolate are my guilty pleasure. I love them. I'm currently losing weight and over the past year I have lost 4 stone so my ultimate guilty pleasure is sitting down to a packet of crisps and a bar of chocolate.
9. What was the last thing you bought?
Essence Gel Nail Polish
10. What is your desert island must have?
Pillow and duvet. I love my home comforts.
11. What was the last film you watched?
The Impossible.
