Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette

Highlighting. Contouring. Highlighting. Contouring. Highlighting. Contouring – will we ever hear enough about it? Everywhere you look, from press releases to Instagram and everywhere else in-between there are pictures, tutorials and products related to this technique and in all honesty… I love it! Being able to sculpt and transform your face is so interesting to me and although I wouldn’t go as far to say that I’ve mastered it yet, it has made a huge difference to my everyday look. Since contouring and highlighting, I’ve had loads of compliments on how ‘well’ I look and how my face is ‘glowing’.

Due to my boosted confidence and an increase in compliments, I have become a little obsessed. I’ve already reviewed 3 separate contouring palettes and several highlighters (all of which are still nowhere near running out) and still I’m buying MORE.

So you’re probably wondering about the new addition is? Well it's the Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette.

It’s made up of 3 creamy highlighting formulas and one shimmery bronzing powder. Inside the compact you also get a decent sized mirror and a cute little eyeshadow brush for precision and intensity. I love the packaging and the dark metallic type case as it reminds me of Benefit’s They’re Real mascara, therefore making it feel like a much higher quality product that an it actually is. On the back, there’s a little breakdown of the colours, what they do and where to apply them, making it super easy for beginners.

The product itself is nice. The highlighters are packed with high intensity shimmers and all have a warm glowy base. They are easily blendable with fingers but I personally preferred using a foundation brush. My favourite thing about this palette is the Renaissance Gold bronzer, though. Maybe it’s because I love powder form, but to me this bronzer is awesome for contouring and the eyeshadow brush is surprisingly helpful to create dramatic lines (not so great for blending).

Use all of these highlighting shades on your face at one time as suggested and you’ll end up looking like an actual light. It’s great for dramatic night makeup and each individual highlight is of brilliant quality – just don’t use them all at once. I love this product so so much!

Overall, this product is extremely versatile and is a great staple product to have in your collection. Be sure to apply in the daylight and you’ll be able to see just how much is enough! It’s retailing at €12.99, available locally in Boots, Waterford Health Park Pharmacy, Mulligans Pharmacy, Boots Online and Simply Foxy.

Anyone have this palette? I personally love my Sleek Face Form and this one is definitely going to replace it in my night time make up bag.
