Wet N Wild Lip Goodies

Wet N Wild Balm Stain €3.99

Is it a lipstick? Is it a lip liner? Is it a lip gloss? No, it's a balm stain! To be more specific, it is the Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain, and it rocks! It is creamy, smooth, pigmented lip color that glides on beautifully and leaves a long-lasting stain of color The Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stains are versatile and fabulous, and I highly recommend them! I would consider these lip stains sheer (more like a lip butter) upon initial application; but at the same time they are remarkably pigmented, and as they dry they become quite opaque. “Sleek” is really the best word I can think of to describe the application of these balm stains. They are pleasant to apply and sooo lightweight. They almost feel like a gloss even, but with the true staying power of a stain and minus the stickiness. In my package from Publicity Loft I received 2 Balm Stains. I received No E1621 Truffle in Paradise and No E129 Nudist Colony.

These are lovely lip stains. I haven't used Truffle in Paradise much as it is a little dark for this time of the year. But Nudist Colony is the most perfect nude colour ever.

Nudist colony is a very wearable pale nude shade. It has a slight metallic finish. I love it and is ideal for us pale skinned Irish beauties. It doesnt stain as much as the other colours in the range but that comes with the colour it is. I did reapply it throughout the day but it is worth it to have the perfect colour. This retails at €3.99 and it is enriched with Acai palm oil which forms a barrier on the lips to prevent against feathering.

Truffle in Paradise is a dark chocolate brown. This colour is going to be fab for winter,it's a really rich chocolate brown. It doesn't need to be reapplied to the lips as much during the day as it is much ricer in colour. I know that as soon as autumn/winter comes along I will be wearing this religiously. If you are into dark chocolate brown lipsticks then this should be a staple in your make up bag. Retailing at €3.99 it is an absolute steal.

Wet N Wild Glassy Gloss Gel €2.99

Ultra-glossy, sheer gel adds high, glassy shine with a hint of color in an oh-so-lickable fruity flavor. Enriched with vitamins, nutrients, oils, and antioxidants to moisturize while keeping lips soft and supple. These are not heavy, super sticky or tacky. They have great shine and, on my lips, they give a wonderful sheer pop of color with a yummy fruity flavor and scent. They manage to stay put on my lips for easily over an hour. These feature vitamins, nutrients, oils and antioxidants to moisturise and keep lips soft and supple. So the 2 i received were E311A Glass confusion and E313A Glass-T off.

They're subtle, but not too subtle as you can see.

E311A Glass confusion is a lovely barely there pink with a touch of shimmer in it. It gives a lovely pop to the lips. E313A Glass-T off is has red tone in it which brightens the lips but isn't overpowering. Both of these colours are very wearable colours for everyday. The Glass-T off is fab when paired with a red lipstick. The Glass confusion can be worn alone or over a pink lipstick. I love these are they can be worn alone or paired with lipstick.

I don't find these glosses heavy, sticky or tacky (yes, your hair might get stuck to your lips if you encounter a gust of wind, but your lips won't feel sticky when you smoosh your lips together). They all have a nice, pleasant fruity flavor and scent, and great shine as well. I really can't find anything wrong with these glosses, ladies. I think these are a fab little alternative to lancome juicy tubes and much more budget friendly at €2.99

MegaSlicks Lip Gloss €2.99

These are described as “super-shiny glosses that add luster and color to lips, while Vitamins A & E moisturise and condition.” I received 3 of these lovely goodies in my bag from Publicity loft. I received Cherry Glaze, In a tutu and Strawberry Ice. These are a smooth gloss with a pleasant scent. They leave lips with a moisturised feeling. The tubes are see through so you can see what colour you have.

I did a swatch of the colours so you can see what the pigmentation is like.

From left to right we have, Strawberry Ice, Cherry Glaze and In a tutu . As you can see the pigmentation is not very strong, these worn alone do not give the best pigmented or coloured lip but when paired with lipstick they are great. Strawberry Ice is the most pigmented of the three. It gives a fab coral colour with a lovely shimmer. Cherry Glaze is red but when used on the lips it has a tint of orange in it. It is quite opaque. In a Tutu is another opaque shade this time with a pink base and it also has shimmer and glitter in it.

And last but not least we have :

Juicy Lip Balm €4.49

I received shade 282C Watermelon, these have quite an oily balmy feel to them which feels gorgeous on the lips and while they aren't medicated, they really do hydrate. They contain aloe vera, vitamin E and an SPF of 15. This is green in the tube and imparts a clear sheen to the lips with a hint of green. It really brings down an redness in your lips. It has a strong scent of watermelon and smells nice.

I loved all my goodies from Wet N Wild. These are all part of the new Summer Collection from Wet n Wild and were recently launched at their summer party which looked amazing.
