A few weeks ago the lovely Breena in Drury Pr sent me some fabulous Bioderma blogger mail. I was so excited to try out the range as I had heard loads about it. I have reviews on the way for the rest of the products but today i am talking about the Sensibio H2O. Below is a pic of what I received from Breena. Keep an eye out for more posts about Bioderma.
Sensibio H2O is the 1st and only dermatological micellar water perfectly compatible with the skin: its fatty acid esters, the constituent elements of micelles, are similar to the phospholipids of the skin cell membranes and naturally help rebuild the skin's hydrolipidic film. It’s the makeup remover of choice by makeup artists and it’s so gentle on the skin that it won’t sting the eyes, is fantastic on sensitive skin, will remove your makeup in a jiffy, refresh your skin AND you don’t even have to rinse your face after using it (even though I still do a very quick one). It’s a great product and is one that sits proudly on mymake up shelf. It is made by Bioderma, a French dermatologic company based in Lyon, France. They develop dermatologic products for dermatologists and skin centers. Sensibio and Sebium are their brand lines which can be bought in Pharmacies and Parapharmacies all over Europe. It's like their drugstore brand, in the same price range as other European drugstore brands such as Avene, La Roche Posay and Vichy, which are all French drugstore brands widely available in Europe.
So how do you use Micellar Water,
- Soak a cotton pad with Sensibio H2O.
- Gently cleanse and/or remove make-up from your face and eyes.
- Re-apply until the cotton pad becomes clean.
- Lightly dab your face with a clean cotton towel.
It's as simple as that. If you use makeup everyday, it will change your skin. I
haven’t really
believed
in the hype until I tried it out
and I got to say that it works like a miracle and has changed my skin so
much. Bioderma has pioneered micellar
solutions. Specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skins, the
Sensibio H2O micelle solution gently cleanses face and eyes. It removes
water-resistant make-up. The micelles contained in its formula
effectively micro-emulsify
impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance (soap-free,
physiological pH). Soothing and decongesting active ingredients prevent
the feelings of irritation often caused by cleansing. I have sensitive
skin and anything new that I try, I tend to
break out, but since my first use of Bioderma, I fell in love with this
product. It feels like water and effectively removes all the makeup
from my face. I use a cotton pad and I take some Bioderma and rub it all around
the face and neck. The first swipe removes 80% of my makeup and the
second swipe removes all the traces and pretty much cleanses the face.
Trust me girls, try this out, it brings a big change in your routine.
Its my must-have, even when I travel, I keep a bottle full of Bioderma. It retails for €5.50 for 100ml, it will last you for a long time and its worth the
money. You will never use a make up wipe again after using this.
