Catrice New Items for Complexion from Autumn/Winter Collection

Inspired by the fashion trends of the Autumn/Winter season 2015, CATRICE presents the latest make-up highlights for the second half of the year. There are a number of new additions to the range and I am going to tell you more about the complexion additions today. Eyes and Lips will covered in another post.

Even Skin Tone Beautifying Foundation

The first thing to be added to the Complexion category is a new foundation namely the Even Skin Tone Foundation. Available in 4 new shades this foundation claims to brighten pigmentation marks and give a radiant complexion. The creamy texture of the Even Skin Tone Beautifying Foundation contains an SPF of 25 and offers medium to high coverage. A dermatological study confirms: after just 8 weeks of daily application, the Even Skin Tone Beautifying Foundation visibly brightens pigmentation marks. The long-lasting, pampering texture also instantly covers colour irregularities and redness for a silky-matt, smooth skin tone. For a perfect, radiant complexion! This looks and sounds great, i will be adding this to my wanted list.

Prime and Fine Professional Contouring Palette

Next up on the complexion range is a new professional contouring palette which features a contour and highlight shade. This is a new addition as Catrice did not offer a contouring palette before. It is available in 2 shades, light to medium and medium to dark, so there is one to suit everyone. The Prime And Fine Professional Contouring Palette offers a professional set for contouring every shape of face. Two easy-to-blend nuances are the ideal helpers: apply darker shade below the cheekbones, along the hairline, the sides of the nose and beneath the jawline. Apply the lighter shade on the brow bones, inner corner of the eyes, center of the nose and above the cheekbones. With a practical how-to-use guide on the reverse. I love the look of this and again I am adding this to my wanted list.

Defining Blush

There are 3 new additions to the existing 6 shades of blush available. I love these blushes and the were awarded the Image Beauty Award in 2013. The ultra-fine, highly-pigmented powder blush with vitamin C and E spreads easily, sets fresh accents, emphasizes your cheekbones and models the contours of your face. Top marks for a perfect finish. I love the new shades, from Rose Couture, Lilactric and finally Legend Berry. The pigmentation of these is amazing. I love the shades I have already and I have Legend Berry and Lilactric on my wanted list, They look very similar to the new shades from Urban Decay.

Liquid Camouflage - High Coverage Concealer

I love the look of this concealer, It's high coverage and waterproof. It is also available in 2 shades porcelain and light beige. Perfect for under eyes and could be a cheaper alternative to the well know Touche Eclait Concealer. Dark circles, irregularities and redness are now a thing of the past – the Liquid Camouflage offers optimal coverage and care. The liquid concealer is highly-pigmented, waterproof and especially long-lasting. Easy to use with a practical flock applicator. I have a feeling I will be purchasing this also.

Highlighting Powder

Next we have the addition of 2 highlighters, highlighters were never previously on offer from Catrice only in Limited Editions. Now we have the addition of 2 shades, Stardust a pinky tones and Champagne Campaign a gold toned. I love the look of Champagne Campaign. The Highlighting Powder comes as a soft and velvety powder with a pearl effect. This innovation leaves radiant light reflections as well as a soft glow on the skin. A highlight for highlights. I am going to need these lol.

Multi Matt Blush

We also have 2 more blush quartets added in 2 different versions. These consist of Four matte shades in one which can be used all together or individually. Four matte, perfectly aligned shades united in one blush. The light and delicate texture of the powder is best applied with a large blush brush to give the cheeks a fresh touch. For a unique look, the colours can be worn individually or combined as desired. The result: a fresh and naturally beautiful complexion.
