Today's Sunday Snippet features the lovely Aoife from Waterford. Aoife has recently moved to Wales but is a lovely blogger who loves to blog about books, travel, money, its a real all rounder so it is.
1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Aoife. I just turned 23, I'm originally from Waterford and I've lived in Dublin for four years. I recently moved to the UK in September to start a masters in Cardiff.
2. How did you get into blogging and why?
I first started blogging in July 2013. It was the summer after my first year in college, and I was doing a journalism degree. I wanted to use my blog as a way to keep in the writing frame of mind, and somewhere to put all my thoughts "on paper", as it were.
3. What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
I finished college last year and since then I've been working in a coffee shop in Dublin Airport to save money for my MA. I also read far more than is probably healthy.
4. Are you a full time blogger? How did you get into blogging and why?
I'm not, but I would love to have the time to be one. As for why I got into blogging, see question two.
5. How do you keep coming up with content for your blog?
A lot of my recent posts are tags. Any of the original content ones are just my reaction to things in my life, or life in general. Even a few fashion ones, which seem to be received well despite the fact I dress in the dark most days, are simply "what I bought today".
6. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
I really admire Sharon of Behind Green Eyes and Danielle of LillieWhiteRose for having both the time and the energy to maintain fantastic blogs while looking after their kids- that's power I could never have!
7. Name the top blogs you read?
I love the blogs I've named above, It's All G and Ace Couture.
8.What makes you read the above blogs?
The last two blogs are run by girls around my age and I love seeing what they can do with their blogs. It really inspires me to do something with my own one!
9. Tell us something we don't know about you?
I can say the alphabet backwards. This is a lot more exciting in real life!
