Today's Sunday Snippet features the lovely Megan Rose of A Little Bit of Makeup And Beauty. I love how versatile Megan's style is and I love her writing and reviews. She is also in college completing a Beauty Therapy Degree so it is great to see other bloggers doing the same as myself at the moment.
1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Megan-Rose. I am 25. I am a Dublin girl
but have moved around quite a bit spending some time in Wexford, England
and Portugal. I am qualified Makeup Artist and Beauty Specialist and am
currently in my 2nd year of Beauty Therapy in College.
2. How did you get into blogging and why?
I have been blogging since 2011 on and off taking
breaks during traveling. I intially started it because my close friends
and family were sick of hearing me talk endlessly about makeup and
beauty. I knew of a few blogs online so I looked into starting my own.
It was my little space to share my knowledge, my makeup finds etc.. Over
the years the blog has grown and expanded from beauty to also lifestyle
and food.
3. What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
I am currently in College completing my Beauty
Therapy Diploma, I also do website management for my sisters business
Indigograce.com
4. Are you a full time blogger? How did you get into blogging and why?
I would not class myself as a full time blogger, as I
do not post everyday on the blog, when I first started I would post
religiously everyday, but as it was my "2nd job" I soon realised I was
pushing myself too much to push out content. I know prefer to upload
quality content a couple of times a week. This is my hobby and one I
love and doing everything my way is how I still enjoy doing it after all
these years.
5. How do you keep coming up with content for your blog?
If you are a beauty addict you will never run out of
things to talk about! I write about everything on my blog from makeup
to life, from fashion to food. So there are always new trends, new
recipes, new shoes to share on the blog
6. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
Firstly Cherry Sue Doing the Do- Sue is just so
nice, funny and honest. I have had the pleasure of meeting her a few
times and she just offers the best advice. Her Things that Rustle My
Jimmies are some of my favorite posts.
The GlamourNazi- Dani is just completly honest, knows her makeup products inside and out, and she has tattoos to die for!
Forever Fabulous in Bows- Sian is the body confidence
queen, she is very supportive and inspirational and her fashion is
amazing.
I could pick so many more but we would be here all day!

I am finding new blogs all the time but the thing
that makes me come back again and read a blog like the ones listed above
is honesty. I like blogs to tell me how it is and these blogs do just
that!
9. Tell us something we don't know about you?
I am pretty small, I am only 4ft 8 1/2 ! The half matters!
