Roll up Roll up! Now if you know me well you will know that me and strip lashes do not have the best track record. I tend to stick to the same Ardell Demi Wispies as they are just easy to apply and I usually get them on ok. I was sent these fab looking lashes from Aoife in Kiss and I was in love when i saw them. They are full on lashes, with lots of volume, perfect for a night out.
I love false lashes but it is usually the Kiss Individual Lashes that I go for as they are so easy to apply. The first thing I noticed about this pack is besides the fact that it is a multipack it also contains this handy little applicator. This is particularly handy if you have shaky paws like I have. Inside there are step by step instructions on how to use the applicator and the lashes. I normally struggle with lashes but ladies these were a dream. I followed the steps below in application.
- Remove the lashes gently from the packaging, using your thumb to gently slide them down.
- Using the eyelash applicator from the pack, place the lashes without glue on your eyelid to measure them against your eye.
- If necessary trim the lashes from the outer corner to fit your eye correctly
- Once happy they are the correct size, apply a small amount of adhesive to the band of your false lashes.
- Allow the adhesive to sit on the lashes for a few seconds before placing it on your eye. This allows the adhesive to get a little tacky and makes application much easier.
- Once tacky, place the false lashes down on top of your own lashes and right next your lash line, try and aim for the centre of the lashline as this makes it easy to wiggle into place.
- Wiggle the lashes into place and allow to sit for a minute to settle.
Once applied I found that the lashes were super long and curly with volume, a little more than the natural look my comfort zone prefers, but for a special occasion, evening meal,or night out it is just right! It really does add a cheeky twist to natural lashes. There is no need for mascara over the top as they are already full of volume.
Remove the lashes when finished using, I gently remove them and then remove the glue and I can easily get another 3/4 wears per set out of these. The longevity of the lashes are very impressive as they stayed on firmly until I was ready to remove them. When I did remove them, they looked the same quality ready for being re-used again and again. Perfect!
