Just over a month ago I received a fabulous package from Bellamianta. I had never heard of the brand before then so I did a bit of investigation and it is a new and exciting brand which is manufactured and based in Ireland. Linda McNamee and Lisa McDermott are the founders and creators of Bellamianta Tanning. After spending 20 years training as beauty therapists and working in the world of luxury cosmetics, they listened to what the customers really wanted and set up this revolutionary new tanning brand. An Irish tan for Irish ladies! The range provides clean, nutritious and luxury tanning products which are formulated with the cleanest ingredients without compromising on performance.

The formula's have built in nourishment, hydration and are extremely fast drying to produce a streak free beautiful summer ready tan. The hydration is ultra smart and it ensure that while the tan dries in 60 seconds, the light formula's are still working to hydrate the skin, ensuring the tan wears of evenly with none of the dreaded snakeskin effect. There really is nothing worse, and if like me you sometimes forget to moisturise then you know its going to take weeks to take off the tan. Not with this new baby!

As well as the self tanning lotion I also received a candle in the same aroma as the tan. If the tan smelled half as good as the candle on first whiff then I knew this was going to be a winner. So what does it claim it does?

I am happy to announce it lives up to every claim and I love this product. For those of you that know me you will know that I am as pale Casper our friendly ghost, and I hate when I look too tanned or just plain unnatural. No one wants to be tangooed and ladies this Bellamianta tan does the opposite, it provides golden olive tones like you have been on a sun holiday, it really is fan-TAN-tastic lol.

So when I received my package, that night I exfoliated and moisturised. I made sure that my skin was perfect. Then I applied my Bellamianta tan, and I loved how it applied, the colour went on fabulous and it started to develop straight away. It develops in 2-4 hours and honestly you can leave it on overnight and then wash it off. As it was my first time wearing it and I only wanted to be tanned for general everyday I choose to wash it off after 2 hours, plus it was getting late lol. So after I washed it off I was very pleased with the result. As it was late that night and I wanted to show ye proper results I waited until the following morning to take pics of my after results. I was so so pleased with the results. It was my upper half that I chose to tan and I compared it to my legs which are like milk bottles haha.

I was super pleased it was very natural and I looked like i had been on holidays. I wasn't too dark. For an event or for summer I will definitely leave it develop for the 4 hours and I can't wait to see the results I know it will be a fab colour. Below you can see my upper half. It looks super natural on and doesn't look orange at all.

Bellamianta is definitely a winner in my eyes and I cannot wait until college is over and I can wear this all the time. The tan wears off perfectly. Most days I forget to moisturise but I do when I shower. This tan was perfect for 7 days and on the 7th day I removed it, but I could have left it on as it was still perfect.
