So last year the whole of Ireland went mad for Urban Decay Riff, as seen on the lovely Rosie Connolly it was her signature look, well cheapskate over here was not forking out €18 for an eyeshadow lol so I set about to find myself an alternative.
Riff is a warm orangey brown shade with the hint of gold sparkle in the pan, it is hard to get the gold sparkle to show up but it is a fab colour to compliment blue eyes. On the colour wheel blue and orange are opposite each other which means they are a fab pairing.

Last year I had bought the Make Up Gallery Good to Glow Bronzer as a cheaper alternative to the Mac Give me Sun, well i have found a new use for it. It is also a cheaper alternative to Urban Decay Riff. As i didn't have Riff my good friend Grace from It's All G did a comparison side by side for me.

As you see they are the same colour and tone and will compliment blue eyes amazingly. Make Up Gallery Matte Broonzer in Matte Medium 2 retails at €1.49 whereas the Urban Decay Riff is €18. I know it is nice to have the Urban Decay one but for those of us who cannot simply warrant paying €18 for one eyeshadow and want to wear the same look this Make Up Gallery one is ideal.
Personally I love it but it wont be for everyone. It seems to wash out brown eyes.
