Sunday Snippet : Aoifeweefa

This weeks Sunday Snippet features the lovely Aoife from Aoifeweefa. Aoife blogs about beauty, fashion and lifestyle issues. She is always up to date on the latest trends. Check out our interview below.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Aoife, I’m 29 and I’m from Limerick. I’m married to Mark, I work full time and I love all things related to social media and blogging :)

2. How did you get into blogging and why?

I’ve always loved social media and was following a good few bloggers & vloggers. I loved reading their posts and interacting with them online - getting tips and information, etc. and thought, why not start a blog yourself? I like to think my blog and socail media could have the same impact on others.

3. What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?

I work as a Commercial Reporting Analyst for a beverage company.

4. Are you a full time blogger?

No I work full-time during the week so the blog is only a hobby at the moment. It’s made me realise that I might be in the wrong career though, and I’m looking at getting into Digital Marketing now.

5. How do you keep coming up with content for your blog?

I write about whatever is current for me - whether it’s a new beauty product I’ve been using, or a trend in fashion I like. I also like to write about interiors so I’m hoping to show more of that on my blog soon.

6. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?

I love how there are so many Irish bloggers out there at the moment, all finding their niche in the huge world that is blogging. Some of my favourites are Behind Green Eyes, The Life and Style of Jen, Floralesque, Passions and Preening, The Beautiful Truth and Lovley Girlie Bits.

8. What makes you read the above blogs?

I really like their style of writing and their topics - I take different things away from each of their blogs, and I have such respect for these ladies - following their dreams and making progress every single day, whether it’s big or small.

9. Tell us something we don't know about you?

I lived in Sweden for 6 months during a University Erasmus placement and while I was there I was on a beginners Curling team - a very strange experience!!
