Good Afternoon/ Evening, today's Sunday Snippet features one of the Clogger Bloggers, Marie from The Beautmum. Marie is a fab blogger, and i love following her fashion and shopping tips on her snapchat. She is always so on point with style. I was delighted with the opportunity to be a guest blogger on Rachsbeautique Blog . Rachael is a mind of information when it comes to makeup, beauty and skincare, so make sure you check her out. Hope you enjoy reading my answers below and finding out a little bit about me.
1. Can you tell us a little about yourself ?
My name is Marie Barry-Murphy. I am a Mom of four kids and wife to one lucky silver fox. I am a qualified Stylist/ Personal Shopper/Mua and Author and owner of TheBeautmum. I love Fitness and try my best to run three times a week as well as exercise. I was thrilled when I completed The Dublin City Marathon last year and I'm so proud to call myself a Marathoner #whoop
2. How did you get into blogging and why ?
I got into blogging when a friend suggested I would be so good at it. Putting all my loves into a blog like Fashion/Travel/Exercise etc. I was like I don't know, maybe I'll start with a Facebook pg first and see, gauge the reaction to that first before diving into blogging. And as they say the rest is history.
3. What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
When I'm not working on my blog, I love to run and workout, meet up with friends, go to the cinema with hubby, or have a nice meal, a spa day loads of stuff. I like to be busy so organising photo shoot's is something I love doing actually it's a passion !
4. Are you a full-time blogger? How did you get into blogging and why ?
I'm not a full-time blogger. I got into blogging after a friend encouraged me saying I would be great at it. I first began with a Facebook blog page and the feed back was so good I decided to take the plunge, and so TheBeautmum was born.
I just blog about things that interest me and stuff I love. Being a qualified Stylist I think I have a good basis to be taken seriously as a #fblogger and would consider myself to have style and know the trends and whats what in the Fashion and Beauty world. But I like to mix it up and put me and my personality and snippets from my life and lessons learnt into my blog. It's important to be real and that is me "REAL" what you see is what you get. I'm too auld now to start being something I'm not and hey I love ME.
6. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why ?
Oh this is a tough one but I must say I do love Pippa O' Connor I love Pippa as she is a Mom and work's hard so Pippa is very relatable and I adore Pippa's style and her makeup and skin care tips are always great.
7. Name the top blogs you read?
I delve in and out of Pippa's but I prefer to read the blogs of fellow bloggers from the fabulous blogger support groups like CloggersBloggerGroup and TheIrishBlBinpire group. These are Blog writers who do it all themselves and everything else besides so why not support your own I say.
8.What makes you read the above blogs ?
I'm not going to single out a few as their are far to many amazing writers, bloggers out there and I wouldn't know where to stop !
9. Tell us something we don't know about you ?
I have four kid's aged 16, 10, 9 & 4 & we lost one at 7 weeks. My husband and I planted a Weeping Kilmarnock tree in the garden in Babogs memory. My grandmother once told me that the tree symbloises healing and that it's actually know as the Little Childrens Tree.
