A few weeks ago now myself and my two lovely ladies Lisa and Jodi hosted the second #Deisebloggers event. We were so delighted to have been really well supported by pr companies and cosmetic companies. With a few personal issues going on I never got the chance to write a blog post on the goody bag so I am going to run through the bag now. I will have reviews of all the products we received up on the blog in the coming weeks so make sure to keep an eye out. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the amazing companies who supported us without ye our day would not have been possible. Check out my post on the day here!
First up let me say what an amazing selection of goodies we got. We got 6 goody bags each. 6 like amazing. The support we got from companies and pr's was unbelievable and I honestly cannot thank them enough. We are incredibly grateful for their support.
Artdeco Waterford sponsored their new Most Wanted Contouring Palette which isn't available until September. It retails at €37.50 and is available in both warm and cool tones. This Palette has all you need for highlighting, blush, strobing and contouring. It is an excellent palette and I have used it nearly every day since I received it.
We also received samples of the Rich Treatment Foundation and the All in One Mascara. Both of these are firm favourites of mine as I use them in my college make up kit. Artdeco is available in Debenhams Waterford and in other Debenhams stores or online.
Next up is the lovely bag of goodies from Skincode. Skincode are a new skincare brand from Waterford. I have always wanted to try out their products and I can't wait. We received a full size spf protection cream which is ideal for the hot weather we are having and I always like to use spf under my foundation. We also received a full size Daily Defence and Recovery Cream which has an spf of 30. This is ideal to use as a daytime moisturiser as it will give you protection from the elements.
The lovely ladies from Delaneys had a pop up shop at the event but they also sponsored some goodies from their shop. Karen from Declare sent us cleansing milks/cleansing powders. I have never tried the cleansing powder and cannot wait to give it a whirl. I am a firm lover of the cleansing milk as is Marissa Carter. It is perfect for sensitive skin. Also in the bag, Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, Vaseline, Vichy samples and some Ziaja Samples. We also received a Nyx lip crayon. I will be using all of these in the next coming weeks and will update you on how I get on.
From the lovely folks over at Karora we received not one but three types of tan. We received the Express Bronzing Mousse, Gradual Tan, and Instant Tan. The Express Bronzing Mousse is a favourite of mine. I love the Gradual Tan and will have a post up soon showing you how great it is. I have yet to try the instant tan but will try it out as soon as I get a chance. We also received Fabuloss Tea, this is a 14 day detox tea and cannot wait to start this. I have never tried detox teas but I have heard great things about this one.
Next up is these fab Glove your Body products. I have been in love the Tanning Mitt and the Scrub your Body Mitt since I received them over a year ago. Check out my Scrub your Body Post here. I also have reviewed their newest product the Dual Facial Cleansing & Exfoliating Pad here. I haven't reviewed the Tanning Glove but I honestly can't understand why as I love it. It's the only mitt i use to apply tan so keep an eye out for the post on this. These are my holy grail skincare and tanning mitts and gloves. If you have all three of these you do not need anything else. It completes your skin wardrobe!
Next in our bags was this fab Flawless Foundation brush. It is a wonder brush. I have previously used the smaller size and I wasn't a great fan as it took too long to apply lol. But with this larger size I am loving it. It is so easy to apply foundation in one swipe and it looks Flawless. This item was gifted from the Waterford Health Park who stocks the Flawless collection. The brush is available in 3 sizes all of which are available in the Health Park Pharmacy.
Next up is these samples from Urban Decay and Giorgio Armani. I love the Urban Decay Eye Primers, Eden is my favourite but I will be trying all 4. Giorgio Armani Perfume is always a favourite of mine so I will be keeping this sample for a special occasion. It is the ideal size to carry in your handbag.
The lovely ladies at Beverly Hills sponsored this fab full size sample of their Perfect White Gold Toothpaste. Beverly Hills Toothpaste is my go to Toothpaste. I love their Perfect Black Collection which you can read about here. I will use this toothpaste and do a before and after pic to see how effective it is, if it is anything like the black it will be amazing.
The lovely folks over at W7 Ireland sent us some goodies from their collection. I received the They're Real Lashes, Mascara, The Nudes Palette, and the Puff Perfection. I haven't used any of these yet but I will do a seperate post on these when I have used and reviewed them. W7 are a brand I like and love as they are so budget friendly but you don't compromise on quality.
Ziaja Ireland another favourite brand of mine. In my bag their was a full size Sensitive Day Cream and Micellar Water, a Goat's Milk Mask and a sample of the rose butter day cream. I love love love this brand. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of them. Everything I use works. It is a budget friendly brand with high end results. The Goat's milk mask and all their masks are favourites of mine. Check out my post here. The Micellar Water I haven't used yet but I will pop up a review when I have given it a whirl. Check them out on www.originalbeauty.ie
Next up from the lovely ladies over at Publicity Loft is the Sleek Eye and Cheek Palette in Dancing Till Dusk. This is the ideal palette for someone on the go like me in the mornings when I am heading to college but we have to have impeccable make up on. I don't have ages to get ready so a palette that contains an eye look and has my blusher is ideal. I can't wait to actually use this palette. I have seen Jodi Roche do a fab look from this palette so as soon I get to use it I will share a picture. Sleek is another favourite make up brand of mine they are so reasonable for top quality products.
Dermalogica one of my much loved skincare brands, We use this brand in college and I love the results from it. It is a luxury skincare brand but the results are worth paying for. We received the Daily Microfoliant and the new Charcoal Rescue Masque. I love the Daily Microfoliant, it is an enzyme and mechanical exoliant but it is gentle enough to use every day. It is an enzyme exfoliant as it contains salicylic acid which breaks down impurities on the skin. Rice bran is the mechanical element as you manually exfoliate the skin and roll the rice bran bead over the skin breaking down the impurities leaving a fresh bright skin underneath. The Charcoal Rescue Masque is my new favourite clay mask. This leaves my skin like new. Check out my post here.
Human + Kind sent this Body Souffle. I love body butters especially when I am wearing tan. I always make sure to have a body lotion on my dressing table so that I can slather myself in it as my skin is dry. My legs always soak this up so I cannot wait to try this one.
The lovely Niamh from Nima Brush sent us a Nichola brush each. I love Nima Brush, they are an Irish Brush company and I love their brushes. Last year I received the Donna and the Terri and I love them both. I was also lucky enough to win the Spot Prize this year of the brush set so I am going to start a new series on the blog where I will review all the Nima Brushes that I have. Keep an eye out for it.
The amazing Tomas from Conefreys Pharmacy sent us these fab Hair Skin + Nails Vitamins, I have used these before and I love them. They really make such a difference to the skin nails and the hair. I plan to get back on track and take these religiously as my hair is not at the length I want it at yet. These supplements I have reviewed previously so check out the review here. Tomas also added a lovely message on each bottle wishing the #deisebloggers well. Thanks so much Tomas.
This is where I wish we had a smell filter. I honestly can't get over how amazing this shower gel from Roger + Gallet is. This brand is one which I have known for years. When I was 15 i remeber working for a very wealthy lady of the manor and she always used this brand. I remember looking at her dressing table wishing I had these goodies. Well now I do and I honestly love it. The shower gel smells amazing and I feel so refreshed leaving the shower after using it. This is available from Mulligans Pharmacy in Waterford.
Next up is the local brand Copper Coast. A few weeks ago I reviewed some of their products here and I love them so much. Their products are all natural and homemade. The aroma from these is amazing. I received a lip butter and a body butter, so I will be doing a seperate post on the lip butter. Keep an eye on the blog for the post.
Essence sent us three lovely products, An eyebrow designer pencil, a gel eye pencil, and one of the new velvets collection eyeshadows. I love Essence so much. I have the Gel Eye Pencil in White also and use it on my waterline. These are a couple of euros each and I love how effective they are.
The lovely people over at Nyx sent us one of their Butter Eyeshadows, Lip Cremes and Slide on Pencil. I plan to do a blogpost on these individually but on first impressions I know I am going to like these. The pigmentation of the products is unreal.
Isadora sent a sample of their long lash mascara and nude sensation foundation. I have used this long lash mascara before and I have to say it is unreal. I will be doing a post on these items individually. I have mixed a tiny bit of the nude sensation foundation with my normal foundation and I love the effect it had on my foundation. It gave it a real dewy effect.
Kiss Acrylic Nails sent us a full set of their artificial nails. I love to have a pack of artificial nails in the press in case of emergency. These are so handy to apply and they are in a lovely French Manicure effect.
Bioderma sent us a small sample of their Sensibio H2O micellar water. This micellar water is my holy grail micellar water. Its amazing at removing all traces of make up and impurities and is so gentle on the skin. I have previously reviewed the Micellar Water and other Bioderma Products here.
Next up is another holy grail product of mine the Tomitago Elixir. They are based in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny. All of the products manufactured are 100% chemical free. This is a great merit of the products as chemicals are very dangerous for the skin as they disrupt the acid mantle causing lots of problems in regards to dehydration, fine lines, premature ageing. One product suits all with this range so it can be used on all skin types. I love this as it is so hydrating and my skin feels amazing the next morning. Full blogpost is here.
Wet N Wild sent us this fab Lip Gloss. This I have been using as it is such a natural colour. It gives a lovely pinky tone to the lips. I will be doing a post on this lipgloss individually but i am so impressed with the pigmentation and the effect it gives on the lips.
Neostrata sent on a sample of their Ultra Smoothing Cream. Neostrata are an amazing brand which are locally available in Gallaghers Waterford. The Ultra Smoothing Cream enhances skin clarity and texture leaving a smooth skin.
Haircare from Alfaparf is the next addition in the goody bags. I love Alfaparf and have used alot of their products already. The precious nature range which we received is for normal hair and I have used the mask for the long and straight hair so I know how much of a great product for my hair it is going to be. We received the Diamond Range Semi Di Lino Illuminating Shampoo, Mask and Serum. The Alfaparf Precious Nature Coloured Hair Shampoo and Mask and the Il Salone Mask and Shampoo. I will be posting all about these once I have completed my review.
Again I want to thank all the companies who contributed products to our event.
