This weeks Sunday Snippet features the lovely Blatnaid from Wildflower Diaries. Blathnaid is a fellow Deiseblogger and is new to the blogging scene in Ireland. She became established as a blogger in Australia. Make sure to have a read of the interview below.
1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Sure! My name is Bláthnaid and i've been living in Australia for the past five years , I moved back to live in Ireland permantley in September 2015,its a big change but i'm loving being back and having lots of friends and family around ! I'm a Primary School Teacher and I took a year out (career break) in September 2010 to go travelling for the year and that soon became two , then three years and well you know how that goes ! Five was the maximum time out I could get so you could say I took full advantage!!haha
2. How did you get into blogging and why?
I got into blogging really organically actually, I had a boutique in Australia and I was always posting pictures of new arrivals etc and then companies started getting in touch for me to feature some of their items etc so I set up Wildflower Diaries Blog at that point.
3. What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
I'm a teacher by profession so I work at that Monday to Friday and on weekends I like to let the hair down and go out and have fun!
4. Are you a full time blogger? How did you get into blogging and why?
No as mentioned above I'm a teacher and as I have already mentioned I had a boutique and that prompted the start of Wildflower Diaries.
5. How do you keep coming up with content for your blog?
Through people who follow my blog/ snapchat mostly. If i'm sent some items ill review them , if my followers ask about cetain products etc i'll also feature them.
6. Name some of the bloggers whom you look up to and why?
I really like Just Jordan because she just says it like it is, she shares embarrassing moments and she loves to have a laugh!
Pippa o connor too of course! But I think she's won us all over !!
7. Name the top blogs you read?
I like checking out the posts the other Deise bloggers put up and they are Definately my go to posts , we have a Facebook page where we share our blog posts, it's nice to be able to support one another and I love reading what the girls have to say particularly because they're local and often give information on the local shops and pharmacies stocking certain brands ,products etc.
8.What makes you read the above blogs?
I love that I've met and chatted with the girls quite regularly and feel like it's another way of getting to know them! Of course the localised information Definately helps too!
9. Tell us something we don't know about you?
I'm seven months pregnant so I'll be having my first baby in November!! It was a surprise but a lovely one none-the-less !!
