Over the past few months Paese has become a firm staple in my beauty bag. It has recently been introduced in Castle Pharmacy Waterford and Delaneys Pharmacy. The expert matte foundation was one of the first things I bought from the stand and I loved it. Check out the review here. Recently I was sent some very lovely items from the lovely ladies over at Paese. I was overwhelmed with the package and so eternally grateful. I decided that the first products I would review are the Long Cover Fluid Foundation and the HD powder. 

The Paese Long Cover fluid is a ultra lightweight foundation that perfectly harmonises with your skin tone for a flawless finish. It gives a medium to full coverage which covers imperfections and any pigmentation discolourations. Due to its lightweight consistency it gives a radiant glow to the skin. As the foundation is full over Vitamins and Shea Butter it moisturises the skin and the skin feels as if you have just freshly applied moisturiser. This foundation is ideal for dry skin as it provides hydration to the skin. I would be a combination of Oily and Normal. For me I have to make sure I set the t zone with powder or a shine does come through after a few hours. The foundation gives a medium coverage which I usually apply with either the Real Techniques Buffing Brush or the Nima Brush Round Head Kabuki Brush. If i feel i need more coverage in areas I add a tiny extra amount and stipple into the skin. I have really been loving this foundation lately and at €16.50 a bottle it is the ideal foundation for everyday wear. 

Next up is the HD Loose Powder. This powder is ultralight and ensures a velvety skin with a matte finish. The presence of meadowfoam in the formula moisturises and smooths the skin to give a flawless finish. The powder perfectly sets makeup and it does not require any touch ups during the day.  The HD Powder has a soft foucs effect which minimizes imperfections. The powder is very finely milled to ensure a flawless finish and natural look. This powder has replaced all my other setting powders and it is the powder of choice everyday. I love the effect it gives on the skin, giving a high definition yet natural look and a matte finish. This retails at €16 euro and its excellent value.
