A few weeks back the most wanted palette of the year so far landed in my door, it has to be the most excited I got about a press package. To say I was ecstatic was an understatement. Urban Decay is a firm favourite of mine. I love the Naked Smoky and the Naked Heat palette. I love my Naked Heat Palette and due to the fact that I have blue eyes it really compliments my eyes so well.
This is one hot little palette. 'Naked Petite Heat' is a compact eye shadow palette featuring six all-new scorched neutrals inspired by the 'Naked Heat'. With five matte shades for lid, crease and liner, plus one demi-matte highlighting shade, it has everything you need to create looks that range from soft and sultry to flat-out fire. I love the size of this palette, it's ideal for travelling, or just throwing in your handbag to take you from a day look to night look. I find myself reaching for it over and over again. It is perfect for work as I can get a lovely neutral eye with a tiny bit of fire or I can go all out.
Lets have a look at the new shades.
From Left to Right we have INHALE, the demi matte highlighting shade. VIBRATE, a matte light peachy brown. HOT SPELL, a light medium orange toned matte brown. WILD THING, a rusty orange matte. HEIST, a medium warm brown. STRIKE, is a deep warm toned plum brown. Aren;t they amazing. Here I have them applied over the Urban Decay Eden Eye Primer which I find shows the true colours of the palette. As with all Urban Decay Palettes there is a little fallout but this is normal as they are soft shadows which are not tightly packed.
The Verdict?
Do you need it ? Most definetly yes. With this palette you can create a fab matte look eye and then with a glitter just add a little sparkle to take you from day to night, or smoke it up a bit with strike on the outer corners. I honestly would have bought this palette anyway and I was full steam ahead to buy it before it arrived in the door. Even if you have the heat palette you will use both. Available from Urban Decay in Debenhams or the Urban Decay Store.
